Where we came from
Doreen and I got married and moved from Warren,Ohio to Orlando in spring of 1983. I worked for several other air conditioning companies while Doreen continued in banking. In the spring of 1986 we added to our family with the birth of our first son, Kevin. Three years later his little brother Eric joined us. Doreen and I continued to work for other companies while we started to get the itch to start our own business.

How we got started
I knew if we were going to start our own business, I would have to get my state license. I got my license in 1987 and started to do little jobs while keeping my day job. In 1990 Doreen and I decided it was time to take the leap and we opened Ambrose Air. For the first couple years it was mostly just me doing all the work and Doreen helping with the books when she got home from her day job. As things started to take off I hired a few different helpers and we were in business.

What we’ve been up to
In 2010 our current equipment supplier was no longer meeting our needs and we knew we had to make some changes. We decided to explore Carrier as an option and they surpassed our expectations. The Carrier brand had a full offering to help meet all of our customer’s needs. We had found a brand that we wanted to be aligned with and so in 2013 we became a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer. Our relationship with Carrier continues to grow and in 2016, we were awarded the Carrier President’s Award. We look forward to many more years and many more awards.

Ambrose Air, Inc. has been serving Central Florida since 1990. Our company was founded on the principal of Honesty and Quality at Fair Price. We have done jobs ranging from a simple repair to as large as 3/4 of a million dollar
